Sonya Sherman is a librarian, archivist and records manager with experience at the coal face of delivering information services to diverse communities and business users. She has developed legislation, standards and policy for public records, FOI, open data and data sharing in Australia, the UK and the Caribbean. Sonya is passionate about openness and digital transformation – their interplay and the role of information governance enabling both. She is the Director of Industry Solutions for Objective Corporation, automating common business processes with information governance by design to meet customer expectations for service, accountability, privacy and transparency
